About Mary Ward English Medium School

Mary Ward English Medium School was established in 1993, it is a Minority Catholic School under the management of the sisters of Congregation of Jesus. The students are prepared for the CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) at Class X level.

The Administration of the school is solely in the hands of the C.J Sisters. These Sisters have several schools and colleges in India and other countries. The institute is founded by Mary Ward, a valiant English lady in 1609, to cater for the education of youth with special emphasis on moral and spiritual formation, in response to the needs of the time.

The purpose of C J education is that we strive to establish the kingdom of God inspired by our foundress Venerable Mother Mary Ward, to foster a society with a profound sense of justice, peace, sincerity and the integrity of creation. Therefore we aim at creating integrated wholesome persons for the transformation of the society in the charism of our beloved foundress Mary Ward, fostering an environment that nurtures students to be persons of compassion, courage and commitment, which bring about a harmonious relationship with self, God, people and the whole of creation.

The School is beautifully situated in a lush green area, without any pollution in Puthenvelikkara village. We have committed supportive management, dedicated teachers, caring and co-operative parents who blend harmoniously to create a child centric school.
