School Rules and Discipline

  1. Strict regularity and punctuality, obedience,  courtesy in word and deed, cleanliness in dress and person and proper care of books and school property are expected from every pupil.
  2. Irregular attendance , neglect of home work, habitual lack of interest in work, stealing, misconduct even outside the school premises, willful repeated breaches of school regulations, disobedience and disrespect towards teachers are sufficient reason for the dismissal of the child from the school.
  3. Continuous absence for ten or more days except on genuine medical grounds will entail removal from the school and will be re-admitted only if there is a vacancy and on payment of the admission fee.
  4. Attendance on the last day and the first day of a long holiday is compulsory unless previously sanctioned. If a student is absent on these days, the  child will have to accept the punishment as per the decision of the Principal. Values and examples of parents are the most lasting source in the young minds.
  5. One or two days leave can be granted by the class- teacher. Leave of absence with reason must be recorded in the dairy & initialed by the parents. Absence on medical grounds for more than two days should be supported by medical certificate. Long leave will be granted only by the principal at her discretion.
  6. Pupils are responsible  to the school Authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for their general behavior outside . Any report of objectionable conduct on the part of any pupil will make her /him liable for disciplinary action. Misbehaviour in public places and conveyances  is liable to the same  action.
  7. Students  are forbidden to bring electronic  gadgets and gold ornaments, to introduce objectionable literature in to school or carry cellular phones, camera or Walkman to the school. They should  not bring crackers, dangerous materials  and chewing gums to the school
  8. The Principal, in the interest of the school may ask parent guardian to withdraw his child/ward if the child’s conduct behavior is  influencial in the Principal’s opinion, or in any way detrimental to the common good of the school and its smooth working.
  9. All pupils are required to wear the uniform. Neatness in dress and person should be cultivated by every pupil. Long finger nails, nail polish, jewellery or bringing of expensive articles to school is prohibited . The hair style of girls and boys should be as per the norms of the school.
  10. All should be particularly careful to throw papers , wrappers  and ice cream sticks etc. in to the waste-paper, bins specially provided for the purpose.
  11. All are expected to speak  English in school to be able to express themselves better in written and oral work.
  12. Gift to members of the staff or other demonstration in their honour  requires the previous sanction of the Principal. All pupils should endeavor to excel in the practice of good manners and obedience  to their teachers . They should greet the teachers of the school when they meet them.
  13. Once the children report to school they may not leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal. The school will not be responsible for the safety of offenders in this respect.
  14. During recess no pupil is to remain in any of the classroom Puplis are expected to attend all SCHOOL FUNCTIONS AND MEETINGS.
  15. Every pupil must take part in school games and other activities, unless declared physically unfit by medical certificate or exempted by the Principal
  16. Collection of money  for any purpose should be done only by the sanction of the Principal. Children are encouraged to practice humanitarian
  17. Pupils themselves are responsible for their own books, pens, cycles, water bottles, tiffin carriers or any other article they bring to the school. Parents are requested to have their children’s articles marked and labeled.
